Willie Grimm
Bio
Willie Grimm is the founding Pastor of Harbor Point Church. Willie has been involved and called to church planting ministry for the last 24 years. He has been a part of leading out and establishing multiple churches and developed and trained others to start new churches and ministries. He, his wife Carmen, and daughter Cora moved to Red Wing in 2020 where Willie has been blessed to have served in interim roles over the last 6 years at Cornerstone, First Covenant in Red Wing and Riverwood Church in Cannon Falls during the “Covid years” and following.
In the Fall of 2025, Willie and a group of other passionate individuals for Jesus came together to follow the call to begin a new church expression to Red Wing with the EFCA. During the last year this team has truly followed God’s leading to develop Harbor Point’s mission and vision. This is not our church, but God’s and He will now continue to lead and grow hearts through this church He is establishing through us. We are excited to see who else God is calling to be a part of this work to see lives and community transformed to glorify God all the while developing eternal relationships.
Willie would say that he is not your typical “pastoral image”:
“I lived a pretty crazy life; so, I don’t think that there is too much that surprises me about the junk we all have or have had in our lives. I know that when God grabbed my attention, He accepted me right where I was at. I would hope that when people meet me, or anyone here at Harbor Point, they would feel this from the start.
God doesn’t expect us to stay where we are at, though. He expects you and me to continually grow and change. No matter where we are at, we all need to grow. This puts us all on the same level, especially when you consider it all against a perfect and holy God.
Harbor Point is committed to growing into true community in the reality of all of this. We are here to help and cheer one another along this journey of growing in faith in Jesus Christ.”
Supporting Churches
Anchor Point Church in Wabasha, MN is a supporting and sending church that has taken on the responsibility of spiritual and leadership guidance during the establishment of Harbor Point.
As a new plant church in the Red Wing Area, we currently do not have all elements of our organization in place. Therefore, Living Hope, in Chatfield, MN has taken on the responsibility of collecting all donations while we finalize our church's business credentials to get started. Checks should be made out to Living Hope with Harbor Point in the memo. Online giving can be setup and select Harbor Point in drop down menu.
